About the event
Our yoga session will be a gentle Vinyasa style session that aims to link movement and breath. Vinyasa yoga reduces stress, is accessible for many fitness levels, and improves heart health. Join us as we flow through 10 basic poses, gently stringing these poses together to make a sequence while focusing on our breath and relaxing our minds. Due to the active but gentle nature you will want to wear loose, comfortable clothing and consider bringing your own mat and water bottle.
The literal translation of Vinyasa from Sanskrit is “connection” according to contemporary scholars. As we connect our breath and movements, we connect to the universe around us with joy, love and gratitude, leaving the stress of the day behind.
